Hays County, TX — A registered sex offender wanted on two outstanding warrants was apprehended Friday in Maxwell, according to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities identified the man as David Anthony Llanos of Buda. The Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit located and arrested Llanos on Sept. 4 without incident.
According to HCSO, Llanos was wanted in Hays County on the following charges:
• Motion to Adjudicate Guilt — Indecency with a Child by Exposure, Third-Degree Felony
• Motion to Revoke — Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register, State Jail Felony
Llanos was transported to the Hays County Jail and remanded on the outstanding warrants.
The Sheriff’s Office said the arrest was part of its efforts to enforce sex offender registration requirements and pursue outstanding warrants involving registered offenders.
The charges and allegations have not been proven in court. Llanos is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
