Wichita Falls, TX — Deputy Police Chief Guy Gilmore is retiring after 37 years of service with the Wichita Falls Police Department and the community.
Throughout his career, Gilmore served in a leadership role built on what the department described as honesty, integrity and a strong commitment to the people of Wichita Falls.
WFPD credited Gilmore with earning the respect and trust of colleagues throughout his decades of service, while providing leadership, wisdom and mentorship within the department.
As Gilmore begins retirement, the department thanked him for his 37 years of service, sacrifice and leadership, noting that his impact will continue through the officers, colleagues and community members he influenced during his career.
