North Texas — Anglers across the Dallas-Fort Worth area have some fresh fishing opportunities Friday as Texas Parks and Wildlife stocks approximately 1,392 channel catfish at three Neighborhood Fishin’ ponds.

• Lakeside Park in Duncanville — approximately 426 fish around 10 a.m.
• Chisholm Park in Hurst — approximately 426 fish around 10:15 a.m.

Two other planned stockings have been postponed. City Lake Park in Mesquite and Greenbriar Park in Fort Worth will not receive fish today because of water-quality concerns. Texas Parks and Wildlife said conditions will continue to be monitored and the locations will be evaluated for stocking at a later date.
