Jasper County, TX — A 62-year-old Jasper man was arrested Thursday night after deputies served arrest warrants stemming from a follow-up investigation by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

According to JCSO, deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 3 to the 14000 block of State Highway 63 West, where they located David Mason and took him into custody without incident.

Mason was wanted on charges of:

• Assault Family/House Member Impede Breath or Circulation — Third-Degree Felony
• Interference With Emergency Request for Assistance — Class A Misdemeanor

Mason was transported to the Jasper County Jail.

The charges are allegations. Mason is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
