Daingerfield, TX — An 18-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Daingerfield, according to the Daingerfield Police Department.
The crash occurred around 4:03 p.m. September 3 in the 200 block of Watson Boulevard. Police and emergency medical personnel responded and provided assistance at the scene.
The pedestrian, an 18-year-old from Daingerfield, was transported by LifeNet EMS to a hospital for further treatment. Police said the latest update indicated the pedestrian was in stable condition.
According to the department, the circumstances of the crash determined that the pedestrian failed to yield the right of way after running into traffic on Watson Boulevard.
