Kyle, TX — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a double homicide that occurred in Kyle more than a decade ago, according to the Kyle Police Department.
Police identified the suspect as Larry Simon, who has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of Tina Combs and James Wright.
The killings occurred in 2015. Kyle Police said detectives continued working the case throughout the years, ultimately leading to Simon’s arrest.
Simon is currently being held in Tennessee and is awaiting extradition to Texas, where he will face the capital murder charge.
Kyle Police credited the department’s detectives for their years of work on the case and expressed hope that the arrest will help bring closure to the victims’ family.
The charge is an allegation. Simon is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
