San Antonio, TX — A 58-year-old man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts involving the continuous sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography, according to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.
Bryce Chatland was sentenced Tuesday in the 226th District Court. He pleaded guilty July 8, 2026, to multiple counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child and Possession of Child Pornography.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office received reports from victims in June 2023 alleging Chatland had sexually assaulted them for more than seven years.
Investigators later discovered videos of the victims that authorities said Chatland had recorded using hidden cameras.
Chatland was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
