Medina County, TX — The Medina Lake Volunteer Fire Department is mourning the loss of longtime volunteer firefighter Bill Beedle, who died August 31 after nearly 19 years of service to the department and community.
The department remembered Beedle as a kind and dependable friend who was always willing to help others and whose faith was reflected in the way he lived.
Beedle also made a lasting impact on young people in the community. He served as leader of the Medina Lake VFD Fire Explorers and spent several years teaching shop at Bandera High School, where he shared his knowledge and guidance with students.
The department said Beedle was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Kelly; his children, Daniel, David, Anna, Ruth and Ethan; his grandchildren; and many friends.
Medina Lake VFD extended its condolences and prayers to the Beedle family and thanked Bill for nearly 19 years of service, friendship and dedication.
