Manvel, TX — A Manvel native is headed to the national stage as chef Miguel Solis prepares to compete on FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen.”

Manvel Mayor Dan Davis announced that Solis, who was born and raised in the Brazoria County community, will be among the chefs competing on the upcoming season of the Gordon Ramsay-hosted culinary competition.

Solis is a graduate of Alvin College’s Culinary Arts program and previously worked for several years at 1820 Coffee House in Alvin.

The new season of “Hell’s Kitchen” is scheduled to premiere September 24 on FOX.
