Johnson County, TX — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance identifying an individual sought for questioning in a fraud investigation involving a Johnson County resident.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the individual entered Citizens National Bank of Texas at 102 Harris Avenue in Red Oak on August 19 and August 20, 2026.

Investigators allege fraud was committed during those visits, resulting in what authorities described as a significant monetary theft. The amount of the alleged loss was not disclosed.

Authorities are seeking to identify and speak with the individual as part of the investigation. Members of the public are asked not to approach or confront the person.
