Harris County, TX — A man with two prior Driving While Intoxicated convictions was arrested after deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 700 block of N. Vista Drive, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

The crash occurred August 31. Deputies identified the driver as Roberto Oyervidez and said he displayed multiple signs of intoxication.

According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, Oyervidez refused to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Deputies then obtained a search warrant for a blood specimen.

Investigators determined Oyervidez had two previous DWI convictions.

He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of:

• Driving While Intoxicated — 3rd Offense

His bond was set at $30,000 out of the 263rd District Court.

DRIVE SOBER

Impaired driving puts everyone on the road at risk. Plan ahead, use a designated sober driver or arrange a safe ride home.

The charge is an allegation. Oyervidez is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
