Fort Worth, TX — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of shooting a hotel security guard early Thursday morning, September 3.
Fort Worth Police said officers were dispatched around 2:48 a.m. to a shooting at a hotel near the 3300 block of Camp Bowie Boulevard.
According to police, the suspect was seen on security video checking vehicle door handles inside the hotel’s parking garage. Security guards approached him and told him to leave.
As the suspect walked toward the east entrance of the garage, police allege he pulled out a handgun and fired several times toward the guards, striking one security guard in the arm.
The suspect fled on foot eastbound from the parking garage.
Police said a witness described him as a Hispanic male with “long floppy hair,” wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans.
