Williamson County, TX — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office had an unexpected visitor Monday night after a raccoon wandered into the agency’s training center and apparently decided to check out the workout area.

Sheriff’s Office staff discovered the raccoon inside the facility and escorted him out, but authorities joked that the furry intruder did not stick around for questioning.

In a lighthearted post, WCSO described the suspect as “adorable,” skilled at stealth operations, comfortable around free weights and probably looking for snacks.

The Sheriff’s Office said the “case” is closed, although staff would still like a word with his mother.

As for the suspect? Released on his own recognizance.

Future offenses: “Highly likely.”

The gym, meanwhile, reportedly needs a deep cleaning.
