Houston, TX — A traffic stop in west Houston led to the arrest of two people wanted on felony warrants, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 5.

Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Toll Road Division conducted the stop September 2 near the 9900 block of Westheimer Road after observing a vehicle fail to dim its headlights.

During the stop, deputies said they discovered the driver had an active felony probation violation warrant.

Authorities also determined the passenger had an active felony warrant for Continuous Family Assault.

Both warrants were confirmed, and the driver and passenger were taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail.

The names of the two individuals were not included in the initial release.

The warrants and underlying allegations do not constitute convictions. Both individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
