Crosby, TX — A suspect wanted on multiple felony warrants was arrested September 1 after Harris County Constable Precinct 3 deputies conducted hours of surveillance and served a warrant in the 200 block of Red Oak Avenue.
The case began August 30 when deputies responded to a vehicle burglary at a home in Crosby.
According to Precinct 3, the victim reported several stolen items, including a credit card, and provided a description of the suspect. Deputies said the stolen card was later used at Walmart, helping investigators identify the suspect and develop information about his location.
Deputies located the suspect’s vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but authorities said he fled on foot. A larger search involving a K9 unit and aerial drone followed before weather conditions forced crews to discontinue the search.
Investigators continued working the case and determined the suspect had four outstanding felony warrants:
• Theft — Harris County
• Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle — Harris County
• Credit Card Abuse — Harris County
• Additional felony warrant — Chambers County
After several hours of surveillance, including aerial surveillance, deputies located and arrested the suspect.
Authorities said additional charges were filed for:
• Credit Card Abuse
• Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
• Evading
The suspect’s name was not included in the release.
The warrants and charges are allegations. The suspect is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
