Tarrant County, TX — The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is honoring the memory of Corporal Charles E. Holt III on the sixth anniversary of his death.

Holt joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2014 and served as a booking corporal in the Detention Division and as a member of the Intelligence Team.

According to TCSO, Holt continued performing his duties during the challenging conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on August 27, 2020, and died five days later on September 1 at the age of 36.

Holt left behind his wife, Moranda, three children, friends and fellow members of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
