Tarrant County, TX — A 29-year-old man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to Sexual Performance of a Child, according to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.

The defendant was identified as Casey Joseph Parr, 29.

Prosecutors said Parr is a convicted sex offender who repeatedly contacted a 14-year-old girl in another state and pressured her to send sexually explicit photographs.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, while Parr was out on bond in that case, he began targeting a second child in another state and again requested sexually explicit photographs.

Parr pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

The Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office credited the Arlington Police Department for its work on the case.
