Harris County, TX — A man was arrested after deputies said he refused to stop during a traffic stop and led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

Deputies initiated the traffic stop August 30 in the 21200 block of the Hardy Toll Road.

Authorities said the driver refused to stop, prompting a pursuit. Deputies later stopped the vehicle and took the driver into custody.

The driver was identified as Carlos Lizarraga, who Precinct 4 described as a convicted felon.

Lizarraga was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on:

• Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle

Bond: $10,000
Court: 174th District Court

The charge is an allegation. Lizarraga is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
