Kerrville, TX — A 43-year-old Kerrville woman was arrested after police said she struck two pedestrians in a McDonald’s parking lot while allegedly impaired.
According to the Kerrville Police Department, officers responded Monday to the parking lot in the 600 block of Sidney Baker Street.
A 90-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was transported to a San Antonio hospital for treatment.
Her 71-year-old son was also injured. Police said he was treated by first responders at the scene and released.
The driver was identified as Jessica Patterson, 43, of Kerrville.
Authorities said Patterson was evaluated at the scene and arrested on:
• Driving While Intoxicated
• Aggravated Assault — 2 counts
The investigation remains ongoing.
The charges are allegations. Patterson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
