Montgomery County, TX — A woman was taken into custody after Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputies served an active felony warrant in the 22800 block of Ford Road.

According to the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the woman was wanted out of Kenedy County on a first-degree felony warrant described by the agency as Human Trafficking involving Smuggling of Persons Causing Serious Bodily Injury or Death.

Deputies said the warrant service resulted in the woman being taken into custody.

The agency did not identify the woman or provide additional details about the underlying Kenedy County case in its initial update.

The warrant and allegations do not establish guilt. The woman is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
