Blanco County, TX — Emergency crews are responding to a vegetation fire in northern Blanco County near the U.S. 281 and Old Marble Falls Road area, according to the Blanco County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office.
Officials described the fire as approximately the length of a football field.
Multiple fire departments and emergency personnel from Blanco County and surrounding areas are assisting through mutual aid. The Precinct 1 Constable’s Office is also helping with traffic control and scene safety.

Motorists are being asked to use caution in the area and give emergency vehicles and crews plenty of room to operate.
