El Paso County, TX — Two Horizon City residents were arrested after deputies said a 2-year-old child was found walking alone in the street during the early morning hours of August 26.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 1 a.m. to the 13800 block of Margaret Ponce Avenue after a community member reported seeing a small child walking alone.
Investigators said 24-year-old Arely Soriano and 25-year-old Ivan Soriano had allegedly left their 2-year-old child and 10-month-old child unattended while attending a gathering down the street where alcohol was being consumed.
Both were arrested and charged with:
• Two counts of Abandoning or Endangering a Child
Bond: $2,000 each
Arely Soriano and Ivan Soriano were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
All charges are allegations. Both are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
