Texas — Texas A&M Task Force 1 is mourning the loss of retired search K-9 Rogue, who died August 5 after years of service alongside former team member Megan Gotta.
Rogue served with TX-TF1 from 2014 until retiring in 2021.
During that time, the search canine deployed to multiple major disasters, including Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Michael and the Polk County tornadoes.
The task force remembered Rogue as a dedicated search canine, trusted teammate and loyal companion who helped during some of the team’s most difficult deployments.
Texas A&M Task Force 1 thanked Rogue for his years of service and the impact he made throughout his career.
