Harris County, TX — A traffic stop involving a vehicle with registration expired for six years led to the discovery of an open warrant, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputy Gomez conducted the traffic stop in the 23800 block of Cypresswood Drive after reportedly observing the expired registration.

During the investigation, deputies determined the driver had an open warrant for Failure to Stop and Give Information (FSGI).

The agency did not provide the driver’s identity or additional information regarding the warrant in its initial update.
