Harris County, TX — A burglary investigation ended with the arrest of a suspect after Harris County Precinct 4 deputies and K9 Bas tracked him down following a foot pursuit.
Deputies responded August 28 to the 1600 block of Beaver Springs Drive for a reported burglary in progress.
Authorities said deputies saw a male suspect fleeing the scene on foot as they arrived. A perimeter was established, and K9 Bas joined the search.
The suspect was located shortly afterward and identified as Jordan Newell.
Further investigation revealed Newell also had an open Harris County warrant.
Newell was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on:
• Burglary of a Habitation
• Open Harris County warrant
Bond: $38,000
Court: 209th District Court
All charges are allegations. Newell is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
