Socorro, TX — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the Socorro Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of robbing a gas station at gunpoint.
According to investigators, the robbery happened at 12:23 a.m. on Friday, April 24, at the Murphy USA located at 10361 Alameda.
Authorities said the suspect initially approached the counter and purchased gas. Moments later, he returned armed with a handgun equipped with an extended magazine.
Police said the suspect threatened the clerk with the firearm and demanded money from the register before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION
• Hispanic male
• Approximately 20 to 25 years old
• About 5 feet 9 inches tall
• Medium build
• Black jacket
• Orange jersey with the number 94
• Blue jeans
• Blue face covering over the lower portion of his face
