Bexar County, TX — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office SCORE Unit joined the Bexar County Gives Back Program and River Aid SA over the weekend for a cleanup of an abandoned encampment in eastern Bexar County.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the effort focused on improving safety, cleanliness and quality of life in the community.
Sheriff Javier Salazar, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and multiple local courts also participate in the Bexar County Gives Back Jail Diversion Program, which the agency said helps reduce taxpayer expenses.
