Harris County, TX — An armed man was taken into custody after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated individual waving a handgun in public, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
Deputies responded Sunday night to the 2200 block of FM 1960 Road, where they located the man and attempted to detain him.
Authorities said the man resisted deputies before ultimately being taken into custody.
Following the investigation, charges were accepted for Resisting Arrest and Carrying a Weapon Where Prohibited.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital following the arrest and is expected to be booked into jail once medically cleared.
The suspect is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
