San Antonio, TX — All six City of San Antonio Resilience Hubs remain open for residents still without electricity following Friday night’s severe storms as crews continue power restoration, debris removal and infrastructure repairs.
According to the City, the hubs provided overnight accommodations to 84 residents Saturday night and welcomed 18 pets.
The Resilience Hubs are currently scheduled to remain open through noon Monday, August 31. Officials will reassess conditions at that time to determine whether operations need to be extended.
During the day, City libraries and community centers are also available for residents who need a place to stay cool.

VIA Metropolitan Transit is providing free transportation to daytime cooling locations and overnight Resilience Hubs.

The City and CPS Energy said crews continue working to restore power, clear debris and hazards, and repair infrastructure damaged by the storms.
