Seminole, TX — The Seminole Volunteer Fire Department celebrated a major milestone this weekend, honoring Robert Barrett for 50 years of dedicated service to Seminole and Gaines County.

Current and retired firefighters joined city, county and state officials, along with Barrett’s family and friends, to recognize his five decades of service to the community.

For more than 50 years, Barrett has helped protect and serve communities across Gaines County while sharing his experience and leadership with generations of firefighters.

His service continues today. Barrett currently serves Gaines County as Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator, helping oversee efforts to keep the county safe and prepared.

The Seminole Volunteer Fire Department recognized Barrett for his decades of service, sacrifice, leadership and continued commitment to the community.

Congratulations to Robert Barrett on an extraordinary 50 years of service!
