Comal County, TX — Authorities are investigating after a man's body was recovered from the water near the shoreline of Canyon Lake Sunday morning.
According to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 10:45 a.m. August 30 after receiving reports of a body in the water.
The sheriff’s office Marine Enforcement Unit recovered the body of an unidentified man. His identity has not been released.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Canyon Lake Fire/EMS and Comal County Constable Precincts 1 and 3 assisted with the recovery.
Authorities have not released additional information about the circumstances surrounding the man's death. The investigation remains ongoing.
