Harris County, TX — A motor vehicle crash investigation led to the arrest of a man wanted on an outstanding larceny warrant, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies responded Aug. 27 to a crash in the 19500 block of the North Freeway near Cypresswood Drive.

During the investigation, deputies identified a man at the scene as Bruce Burns. Authorities said a records check revealed Burns had an open warrant for larceny.

Burns was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on the outstanding warrant. At the time of the agency’s announcement, bond and court information had not been set.

All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
