Leander, TX — Leander police are investigating after an unknown suspect allegedly opened fire toward an assisted living and memory care facility early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to The Haven at San Gabriel, located at 1253 West San Gabriel Parkway, at approximately 3:40 a.m. on August 29 following a report of shots fired.
According to the preliminary investigation, an unknown suspect drove up to the facility and fired several shots toward the front of the building.
No injuries were reported, but the facility sustained property damage.
Investigators currently believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
