Palo Pinto County, TX — The Ross Fire has grown to 85,303 acres and is now 31% contained, according to an August 29 operational update from the Texas A&M Forest Service.
Boe Adler, Regional Operations Chief with the Texas A&M Forest Service, provided the latest operational briefing as crews continue working the wildfire in Palo Pinto County.
The updated numbers mark continued progress on containment as firefighting operations remain underway across the incident area.
