Madison County, TX — Multiple fire and emergency agencies responded Saturday afternoon to a fire at an oil well site on Blagraves Road, west of North Zulch.
The North Zulch Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene, where photos showed flames and heavy black smoke coming from the oil well location.
Several mutual-aid agencies assisted with the response:
• Normangee Fire/Rescue
• Madisonville Fire/Rescue
• Brazos County Precinct 3 Volunteer Fire Department
• CHI St. Joseph Health EMS
• Madison County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers
Fire officials said crews worked together to safely bring the incident under control.
No injuries were reported in the information released. A cause of the fire was not provided.
