Harris County, TX — A driver was arrested on a DWI charge early Saturday after Harris County Precinct 5 toll road deputies stopped a vehicle near Clay Road and the West Sam Houston Parkway North.
Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office initiated the August 29 traffic stop after authorities said the vehicle was traveling 90 mph in a 65 mph zone and failing to maintain a single lane.
During the stop, deputies reported observing several signs of intoxication from the driver.
Authorities said standardized field sobriety tests were administered, and the driver was subsequently arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
