Gillespie County, TX — The White Oak Fire in southwest Gillespie County has grown to an estimated 75 acres and remained 0% contained as of 5:27 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, according to Fredericksburg/Gillespie County Emergency Management.
Fire crews continue working the wildfire with support from the Texas A&M Forest Service.
Officials said the fire is burning in the area between White Oak Creek, North Spanish Oak Trail, north of Springfield Road and west of Zenner-Ahrens Road.
