Houston, TX — Houston police are investigating a fatal incident involving a train and a pedestrian Friday night in the 7600 block of North Main Street in the Independence Heights area.
According to the Houston Police Department, North Patrol officers responded to the scene, where a pedestrian was confirmed deceased.
Authorities have not released the identity of the person killed or additional details about the circumstances leading up to the incident.

Several railroad crossings in the Independence Heights area are blocked while the investigation continues.
