Harris County, TX — A mother and her children were safely removed from a vehicle after it became stranded in high water, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Constable deputies responded after the woman drove into a flooded roadway and the vehicle became stranded. Authorities said everyone was safely removed from the vehicle.

SAFETY REMINDER

Drivers should never attempt to cross a flooded roadway. Water can be deeper and moving faster than it appears.
