Harris County, TX — A man was arrested after allegedly refusing to stop for a Harris County Precinct 4 constable sergeant and leading deputies on a brief vehicle pursuit that ended at his residence.
According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, a sergeant attempted a traffic stop near the 1400 block of Rushworth Drive on August 27. Authorities said the driver refused to stop and continued until reaching his residence, where he was apprehended.
The driver was identified as Carlos Hanks.
Hanks was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $5,000 out of the 228th District Court.
All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
