Canadian, TX — Canadian ISD says its campuses remain under a secure hold as law enforcement continues responding to a telephone threat received at Canadian Elementary.
The district clarified that parents and guardians should not come to campuses to pick up students while the secure hold remains in effect. Students cannot be released during the secure status.
Law enforcement is present at all campus buildings, and Canadian ISD reports that all students are safe and accounted for.
The district said additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.
Parents and members of the public are asked to remain away from Canadian ISD campuses at this time.
