Bronte, TX — After years of planning and community support, the Bronte Volunteer Fire Department has welcomed a new heavy-duty brush truck to its station.

The department credited years of donations, contributions and support from the community with helping make the new apparatus possible.

According to Steele Fire Apparatus, the new truck is a 2027 Freightliner M2-106 AWD equipped for firefighting operations with a 1,000-gallon water tank, 10-gallon integral foam tank, foam system, hose reel and emergency lighting package.

Bronte VFD thanked residents and supporters who contributed over the years, saying the community stepped up to help the department protect the town.

Congratulations to Bronte VFD on the new addition!
