Converse, TX — A bicyclist was seriously hurt Wednesday night after a vehicle struck him and left the scene.
Converse officers responded to the 8600 block of FM 78. A nurse stopped to give first aid and stayed until firefighters and EMS arrived. A witness followed the suspect vehicle, photographed the plate, and told officers where it was going.
Police stopped the vehicle in the 9100 block of FM 78 and arrested Jenifer Lynn. She was charged with:
• Intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury
• Collision involving injury
• Possession of a controlled substance
Lynn is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
