McAllen, TX — McAllen police are asking for help locating two women accused in retail thefts and unauthorized credit card transactions.
Police identified the suspects as Elisa Yvette Colombel, 46, of Mission, and Cindy Thalia Ramirez, 38, of McAllen. The thefts were reported at several McAllen stores between July 30 and August 23. Police said those cases led to a related report August 23 of unauthorized credit card transactions at several stores in North McAllen.
Colombel faces five counts of theft and 10 counts of credit card abuse. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Ramirez faces one count of theft, four counts of credit card abuse, and two counts of organized retail theft. She is 5 feet 1 inch tall, about 280 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Both are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
