Waxahachie, TX — Lt. Corder, PE Lynn, and Firefighter Tedder have been sent to South Texas as part of a wildland firefighting task force.
Waxahachie Fire-Rescue said they are pre-positioned with crews from five other departments because of the higher wildfire threat from extreme heat and dry conditions.
The department asked residents to use extra caution with anything that could spark a fire.
