Houston, TX — Precinct 5 deputies arrested two people after a strong-arm robbery in a shopping mall parking lot and returned the stolen items to the victim.

Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office were sent to the 300 block of Memorial City Way after a woman reported being robbed. She said two suspects followed her as she left a store and robbed her in the parking lot.

Deputies identified the suspect vehicle and later that night found it in the 9700 block of S. Gessner. They conducted a felony traffic stop and detained both suspects.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted robbery charges against both. The stolen property was recovered and released to the complainant. Both suspects were taken to jail.

They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
