Fort Worth, TX — Fort Worth police say an incident first reported as a shooting at Arlington Heights High School was fireworks in a bathroom.
Officers were called about 8:15 a.m. Friday to 4501 W. Freeway on a report of possible shots fired inside the school. School resource officers, neighborhood patrol officers, and patrol units from across the city responded. The campus was placed on lockdown.
Police later determined a student or students lit fireworks in a bathroom. The lockdown was lifted. School administrators are reviewing video to identify who did it.
There is no active threat at the school.
