Harris County, TX — A driver found asleep behind the wheel has been arrested for DWI, Constable Mark Herman’s Precinct 4 Office said.
Deputy Tamez responded to the 14400 block of Cypress Falls Drive after reports of a person asleep in the driver’s seat. Deputies got the driver out of the vehicle safely. After further investigation, the person was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
“If you’re impaired, don’t get behind the wheel. Make a plan and find a safe ride home,” Constable Herman said.
The suspect is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
