Harris County, TX — Two people have been arrested and charged with felony theft after deputies said they left a business with $405.98 in unpaid merchandise.

On August 15, 2026, Deputy Haynes with Constable Mark Herman’s Precinct 4 Office responded to a disturbance at 8755 FM 1960 Bypass Road West. An investigation found that David Eversole and Syed Washington entered the business and passed all points of sale without paying, the constable’s office said.

Both were booked into the Harris County Jail on felony theft charges. Bonds had not been set out of the 488th District Court.

“Thanks to the quick response, both suspects were apprehended and will now face felony charges. Theft will not be tolerated in Precinct 4,” Constable Herman said.

They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
