Mansfield, TX — Mansfield firefighters responded this afternoon to a train derailment near Seeton Road and South Holland Road after 10 Union Pacific railcars left the tracks, the Mansfield Fire Department said.

There have been no reported injuries and no product leaks, the department said. Firefighters also extinguished a small grass fire associated with the incident.

Five Mansfield Fire Department units responded. Four Grand Prairie Fire Department HazMat units assisted with reconnaissance and a hazard assessment. Mansfield police officers were on scene helping with traffic control.

Active Scene Reminder
The fire department asked the public to continue avoiding the area and use alternate routes. Give first responders room to work and do not approach the scene.
